Membership Overview

ATA is an organization comprised of active and accredited angel investors who share the goal of making informed, collaborative early-stage investments in promising Georgia-based companies. ATA gives its members a forum to efficiently evaluate quality early stage investment opportunities.

Member Profile

Our members are:

  • "Accredited" investors. NOTE: An “accredited investor” as defined under Rule 501 of the SEC regulations, which defines an individual accredited investor as: “Any natural person whose individual net worth or joint net worth with that person’s spouse at the time of his/her purchase exceeds $1,000,000”; OR “Any natural person who had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the two most recent years or joint income with that person’s spouse in excess of $300,000 in each of those years and has a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year.”

  • People who enjoy building relationships with other private equity investors and successful entrepreneurs
  • Willing to contribute their time and expertise to both early-stage companies and the ATA organization

How to Become a Member

Other than an annual membership fee, there is no required capital commitment to become a Member. However, members are expected to do the following:
